Can you get a Twitter account reinstated after a suspension?
I had a friend who didn't understand the rules and how to use Twitter and was just posting her freelance writing like crazy on her account. She was later suspended due to it. She wants her account reinstated, as she didn't understand the rules the first time around. Is there any way to contest an account suspension with the social networking site Twitter? What can she do?

If the account was suspended for just posting her work, she may be able to get it reinstated by contacting Twitter at http://help.twitter.com/requests/new. This will open up a support ticket, alerting Twitter that you are experiencing a problem with your account. Explain that the links that were posted were for her personal writing, and that she is now aware that this is an inappropriate Twitter practice. Perhaps by explaining that there was no malice involved, her account will be considered for reinstatement. Or she can email suspended@twitter.com.
This isn't a guarantee that her account will be opened, but it's worth a shot. Otherwise she will be looking at having to create a new account with new information.
